Deus’ head bike builder wears many hats, engineer designer, workshop manager and test pilot.
Growing up in Annecy south eastern France in the shadow of the alps Jeremy Tagand was always surrounded by motorcycles. He flung a leg over a dirt bike when was three years old, and graduated to road machines when he was in his early teens, that was the custom bug bit. “I started to play around with the bikes, and try to make them look a little different. To give them some style and character,” he says.
Before long, he was wrenching in local motorcycle dealerships and earning enough money from to fund his love for surfing and snowboarding. Then one day in 2006 he found himself standing in Deus Sydney warehouse building, 10,000 miles from home. He walked out with a job offer and has been a regular fixture in Camperdown ever since. His nickname, unsurprisingly is French.
