Live Sessions at The House of Simple Pleasures
Imagine stripped back guitar riffs, and an atmosphere that can only be described as, “big mood”. The passengers were taken on a journey through time, and space, as the lads embarked on two, hour long sets including, a 20 minute freestyle jam. Diners forgot their immediate concerns to stick around and enjoy the show, even joining the band for a boogie.
The stage was set yet again, to raise the beast that is Deus Live Sessions. The creatures of musical genius came together, and put on an incredible show. This time Carlos Lara from Bootleg Rascal, and Jock, Matty, and Lachy, from the band Interim joined forces to bring us sounds of the future. The space shuttle that was Deus Cafe, reverberated with the lads’ take on Australian and International music.
The fully stocked bar provided fun for all tastes, from local and international beer, to a selection of local wines, and extended spirits list. While Young Henrys and Jameson got behind the party, punters kept the bartenders busy shaking cold beverages throughout. Full dinner menu, along with weekly specials, meant there was something for everybody. With chef Takeshi at the help of the kitchen, the guests were well fed, while the ears were satiated by live music. Safe to say this will be a regular occurrence around these traps. The spirit of enthusiasm, and rock ‘n roll is well, and truly alive. Welcome to live sessions, welcome home.
