ROCKET SHOP OPENS UP WITH A BLAST

Posted 11 years ago by Deus Indonesia
What a weekend. Blasted up to Jakarta Saturday to be around for the grand opening of Rocket, our newest retailer there. While the emphasis was on Fixed wheel bicycles, they had a race meet and our Australian GM Ben pulled off 2nd place. Go dude. Julian entered the skid contest but didn’t rank, boo hoo!! You could say we were the only international entrants. Amazing fitout, they literally pulled a 747 apart to do it. There was frame painting by local artists, Felix was reunited with his Bukit Climber, albeit briefly. DJ’s and a band and bicycle movies. Bikes they are building under the Rocket label were out. Man ,if it had two wheels it was there. Special mention has to go to the company car, an ex-armored truck, perfect for a run to grab some milk in that Jakarta traffic.
