Throttle Roll 2016
Deus is proud to announce its participation in the colourful and creative cacophony of bikes, blokes and babes that is Throttle Roll 2016 – and this year it’s bigger than ever. Celebrating its 4th year, the hugely popular event celebrating Australia’s custom bike culture and communities has grown into a street party filled with amazing motorcycles, live bands, food and bars.
Deus will be holding a stall alongside BMW to showcase the Heinrich Manuever – R nine T custom build, as well as accepting registrations for the Deus Boundless Enthusiasm Bike Build Off 2016 and taking every opportunity to partake in the revelry of the day.
You’ll see over 60 of Australia’s finest custom home builds alongside pro-built motorcycles in the famous ‘wall of scaffolding’ as Railway Parade in Marrickville is transformed into the party of the year this June 12th Queen’s B’day long weekend. 250 bikes from the morning’s Throttle Roll Ride will also be parked inside the venue for all to see. You’ll be seeing everything from café racers, bobbers, choppers, trackers, scramblers and the un-definable custom motorcycles.
It’s not just your eyes that will be getting overloaded with goodness, as a huge line-up of some of Australia’s hottest Rockabilly, Blues and Rock bands, along with DJ’s will be belting out tunes all day from 11am to 11pm. The band lineup includes The Snowdroppers, Pat Capocci, Frank Sultana & The Sinister Kids, Deep South & Down, The Drey Rollan Band, Wes Pudsey & The Sonic Aces, Los Tones, The Persian drugs, with Limpin’ Jimmy & the Swingin’ Kitten and the Slippery Trout DJs keeping the atmosphere alive between sets.
You’ll be able to sate your thirst and settle that grumblin’ tummy with a ton of kickarse food and booze from the likes of Young Henry’s, a smokehouse by Bovine & Swine, foodtrucks from Happy as Larry, Tsuru, Fired up and to make sure you can keep partying on into the night plenty of coffee from the Rising Sun Workshop.
The Throttle Roll Street Party 2016 proudly boasts a family and pet friendly event, and this year an awesome prize will be given away on the day for those making the pilgrimage to Throttle Roll with a brand new customised Nemesis 400 from Sol Invictus to be won.
