Next Up: A British Road Racer
Deus America’s Emporium of Postmodern Activities in Venice California is on the homestretch of finishing a T140 road racer by the hands of Michael Woolaway.
The tuned 1979 Triumph parallel twin has been resting quietly in the cradle of a C&J chromoly frame tucked in the corner of Woolie’s Workshop for the last five years and finally the perfect customer project came along to utilize the classic configuration and awaken the sleeping beauty.
The 19″ wheel mounted with a dirt track tire indicates the bike’s initial flavor, but the small green gas tank has been replaced by an elongated handmade aluminum GP-style unit. If thats not a clear enough indication that Woolie has changed his tune, the 17″ road racing wheels and clip-on bars quickly reveal that this dame will be quite fit for the twisties.
Stay tuned! We’ll be releasing the finished bike soon with full build details right here on deuscustoms.com
