W&W THROUGH THE LENS OF MONTI SMITH
If you’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting Monti Smith (@mounce), you’ll know he’s not the kind of person you forget quickly.
He’s a very likeable guy, he speaks Spanish, owns an Oyster farm in Mexico and has some pretty good travel stories to tell.
Naturally, whenever it’s time to choose the crew for our next photoshoot, Monty always seems to sit pretty high on our list.
He’s also a bloody good photographer … so that helps.
Another nice thing about Monti, he’s also very generous.
Last year, Monti offered up his ‘63 Chevy panel van for Deus’ ‘Death Rides A Horse’ feature film trip.
We stole him, his van and his camera for an epic 17-day trip from California to Mexico and back again – if you didn’t happen to see the trailer for DEATH RIDES A HORSE, check it out here.
For the last week, we’ve had the pleasure of Monti’s company for the 8th Edition of Wheels & Waves, covering the Punk’s Peak Sprint, The Deus Swank Rally and a few other bits and bobs.
We thought it only right to give you a glimpse into the week that was.
