Every story needs a soundtrack, an inseparable mistress along for the ride who has a chord to colour everyday.
Deus’ musical heritage traces back to the seminal Australian independent label Phantom Records, founded by Dare Jennings in 1979. Music is about to re-enter the Deus bloodstream via Deus Records; a boutique record label specialising in unique editions and limited pressings.
Over the next 2 weeks we will celebrate Deus Records inaugural release, casting a spotlight on our first signing; multi-disciplinary New York duo TV Baby. We will hear from the man steering the ship, Justin Miller via the record label’s Brooklyn office and an insightful conversation with Dare about his undiminished love of music and his full circle return to publishing it.
