As my unplanned arrival at a motorcycle show about a moth ago dropped me in the thicket of local bike building and culture, I decided to return this month to see whats what going down in our capital city. I met a friend at a neutral location and he lead me deep into the side streets and shortcuts, after a few lefts and rights and a lot of one way loops, we were there. The sun was shining and the crowds were out, the whole joint was packed with people hustling and bustling, going about their Sunday afternoon. A fun packed afternoon ensued, entertained by the likes of 'lowrider agility contests' and some of the local kids hitting' the quarter pipe on their BMX''s. Good bikes, good crowd, good times. Already have the next month's event penciled in my schedule! Speaking of schedule's, make sure you have Sunday the 14th of November clear as Deus Temple of Enthusiasm Canggu will be holding its first ever swapmeet. The day is not to be missed, everything Deus will come together for a day of swappin', music, and lighthearted debauchery. A lot of our friends from around Bali will be coming down as well, offering a huge range of sweet stuffs for your pleasure. Custom motorcycles, Bicycles, vintage clothing, new and used surfboards, Art…you name it and you'll find it in our back yard. Participants who have already booked themselves along for the ride include: Pressban, Bomba, The Bike Shop, Andrew Wellman art…Oh and did I forget to mention that there will be a sale on all Deus clothing, 50% off, cant complain about that!
