For the first time, The Deus Bike Build Off went digital, in the hope of opening the competition up to not only the builders from local flagship areas, but to hear stories and experience creative builds from all over the globe. The response was huge, with participants from over 35 countries getting involved and uploading their builds and the stories of how they put it together. www.bikebuildoff.com In July, we held events at each of our Sydney, Milan, Bali, Tokyo, Biarritz and Venice locations to celebrate the event and get a first hand look at some of the local builds. Thanks to everyone that entered the competition or came to one of the events. Global winner announced shortly. Thanks to Yamaha, Metzeler and Acerbis for making it happen. Last week on Venice Boulevard, the local community of heritage Japanese auto enthusiasts descended upon the Emporium of Postmodern Activities.
A mix of '60s, '70s '80s, '90s and early '00s classics were on display, including rarities like a Toyota Stout 1900, a Datsun 280z and an adorable Nissan Pao.
