Spare parts in expert hands makes for well, not quite light work - but Ciaran Naran and Forest Minchinton are no strangers to a challenge. In episode one of this brand new series, the boys from Baja burn more than midnight oil to build and race a bike using only spare parts (with a leg up from some friends). Keep an eye out as we unveil episodes 2 and 3 in coming days!

If you can't wait, the bike is currently for sale alongside a limited edition Spare Parts Department poster, more details below.

About the Build.

The Spare Parts project was born out of a desire to clean out the Workshop at Deus Emporium of Post Modern Activities in Venice, CA. Deus ambassadors and resident builders Forrest Minchinton and Ciaran Naran have spent the better parts of their lives racing dirt bikes and most recently contesting the SCORE World Desert Championship full time as the Deus racing team in the Pro Motorcycle Unlimited class.

Featuring a heavily modified engine, upgraded suspension, and a host of high-performance components from top brands like AHM Factory Services, Boyko Racing, and Baja Designs, this CRF450X is ready to tackle the toughest terrain. Its stripped-down, race-ready aesthetic and powerful performance make it a true desert machine.
