The Fuoristrada
Meet the Furoistrada, a custom Fantic Caballero 500 crafted in tribute to the 50cc edition from the seventies.
When the Fantic Caballero was first released in the 1969 at the Salone del Ciclo e Motociclo di Milano, it became an instant classic with charisma to burn and a design that set it apart in the cutthroat Italian motorcycle scene.
Decades have passed however our love for the iconic lines of the seventies remains. When the opportunity presented itself, we eagerly seized the chance to pay homage to this Italian icon.
This project demanded intense work from our Milan Workshop over many months. Sporting handmade fenders and side panels, along with a thick handcrafted seat the Fuoristrada was by all means a labour of love.
To capture the essence of the '70s, we incorporated retro fairing and a rubber plate holder. The exhaust system underwent some modification and it now features an SC Project exhaust terminal which gives the bike the sound we love to hear when hitting the gas.
For optimal off-road performance, we upgraded the front suspension and modified the swing arm to house TFX suspension. Amidst all the retro details, we decided to infuse a modern touch by integrating a Garmin Navigator system ensuring a seamless riding experience on and off the road.
